Teeth of the Dog
- Ranked the #1 golf course in the Caribbean and #27 in the world, located in Casa de Campo. This golf course in paradise should be on every golfer’s bucket list.
- It is one of the most famous designs of Pete Dye, designer of TPC Sawgrass Stadium, Kiawah Island and Harbour Town, among others.
- Meticulously hand-carved from the rugged rocks and corals of the Dominican coast, it features 7 of the best holes by the sea in the world.
- Multiple venue for the Latin American Amateur Championship, tournament where the winners gets a The Masters invite.
Punta Espada (Cap Cana)
- Punta Espada is a Jack Nicklaus Signature course located in the beautiful resort area of Cap Cana. Featuring entertaining short holes and greens of various sizes in a unique natural setting.
- Considered one of the most scenic courses in the world. Golfers are blessed with extraordinary views of the Caribbean, the contrasts of the fairways and the perfect greens.
- Built in 2001, open to the public in 2006, this course was headquarters of the PGA Champions Tour for 3 seasons, from 2008 to 2010.
Corales Golf Course
- This Tom Fazio masterpiece, built between 2005 and 2009 features six Caribbean Oceanside holes, natural cliffs, bays, and marvellous ocean views.
- It is a private course restricted to no more than 40 rounds per day, so playing here requires planning and booking a tee time with enough time in advance.
- It is venue of the Corales Punta Cana Championship of the PGA Tour.
Dye Fore
- Designed by Pete Dye, this is Casa de Campo's resort second course.
- This 27-hole golf course has 9 scenic cliff-side holes overlooking the Chavón River, and the Marinas on the Caribbean sea.
- The challenging 7,714yds from the black tees offer a good adventure for low handicap players looking for a thrill.
Playa Grande
- Originally designed in 1995 by golf legend Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and later on renovated by his son Rees Jones. Playa Grande features cliff-side fairways, emerald contoured greens and ten holes directly on the ocean that will surely distract your game.
- It has many extraordinary holes, like the par 3 of the 17th with a coastline 80 yard long green, or the fabulous par 5 of the 18th that requires flying over a cliff and the sea to reach the green.
- Playa Grande is located northwest of Santo Domingo, near Cabarete beach town famous for its windy conditions attracting kite or windsurfing fans.

The Dominican Republic offers many activities: swimming with sharks or dolphins, practicing water sports such as snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, sailing or kitesurfing. Explore its beautiful beaches, and enjoy sitting in the sun or reading a book.

Time to book
If you travel during the low season (May to September), 60 days in advance should be enough to book. However, we recommend planning the trip as far in advance as possible to access the best lodging rates and air plane ticket fairs.
When to travel
Travel to the Dominican Republic is possible all year round because of the good climate.
We suggest travelling to this destination from May to September, during these months prices are more accessible and there is plenty of availability. High season runs from November til March. Always check the golf maintenance schedules for the courses you wish to play.
How to get there
Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) has a numerous amount of daily flights coming from all continents, and since 2012 it is connected to La Romana by a modern 6-lane highway (70 min trip). You may also want to fly via Miami or Panama.
