Planning
Where to stay
This destination offers all accommodation types, with more affordable pricing options than Miami and Orlando. Several renowned golf resorts with amenities and food options, such as Barefoot offer: villas, condos or apartments with up to 4 rooms. We recommend choosing a lodging option close to the golf courses you are schedules to play.
Time to book
While Myrtle Beach is a relatively easy destination to plan, we suggest booking two or three months in advance in order to guarantee accommodation availability and good tee times.
Myrtle Beach is the most popular destinations for travelling with “friends”. Although you can play all year round, from May to September the price/quality ratio is unbeatable compared to similar destinations such as: Orlando, Miami, Phoenix, Palm Springs or Hilton Head.
How to get there
Unfortunately, the local airport receives few international flights, so it is necessary to fly to: Atlanta, Miami or New York and then catch a connecting flight. If driving, from Charleston (Kiawah Island) it’s just 2 hours away and from Augusta 4 hours. Due to the proximity, we strongly recommend combining Myrtle Beach and the Masters on the same trip.
